Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary school students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative educational setting near Asheboro, NC, making a difference every day in the lives of young learners.
Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC) required Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Comfortable managing an elementary school caseload Passion for helping students develop communication and language skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students with speech, language, or communication disorders Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate, timely documentation for assessments and therapy sessions in compliance with school/district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized education goals Provide training and resources to staff and parents to enhance communication support within the school environment
