Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to a dynamic school-based setting, making a difference in the lives of students from August 2026 through June 2027. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment near Concord, NC, providing essential SLP services throughout the academic year (37.5 hours per week). What you'll bring: North Carolina SLP license in good standing (CCC-SLP preferred) Minimum of one year of experience providing speech therapy services in school settings Familiarity with school speech-language caseloads, including evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff Your responsibilities: Conduct student evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and document progress Support students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring access to educational opportunities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend IEP meetings, and provide training or support to school personnel as needed Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Engage in ongoing communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress Enjoy the flexibility and focus that comes with a contract role, while making an impact on the students you serve.
