Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll play a vital role in helping learners reach their fullest potential, working with students 1:1 as well as in group settings. This contract opportunity calls for an enthusiastic, licensed SLP ready to make a positive impact in a diverse educational environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current, active SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted) Certification appropriate for school-based settings Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students Confidence in both group therapy and individualized 1:1 sessions Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized intervention plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals Provide direct therapy to students, adapting methods as needed for each age group and setting Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to foster overall student achievement and success Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to IEP meetings Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to support student development Participate in school-related meetings, workshops, and professional development as needed This position offers a chance to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to the educational journey of students in a vibrant community.
