Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract If you're an experienced SLP-CCC with a passion for supporting students' communication growth, this school-based contract opportunity near Durham, NC, could be an excellent fit. In this role, you will provide in-person services on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week) throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. What You'll Bring:
Valid and active SLP-CCC certification (CFYs not considered) Current professional license and educator certificate Minimum of one year providing SLP services in a school setting Willingness to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and register with NC Tracks before your start date Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting prior to beginning Flexible, adaptive mindset; ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to inclusive, student-centered therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students as assigned Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and district regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Manage a dynamic caseload at multiple schools within the district (assignments and ages will be provided during placement)
