Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school setting in Greenville, NC. This contract role is scheduled from April 17, 2026, to June 10, 2026, offering an opportunity to work with elementary school-aged students, Pre-K through 5th grade. Responsibilities include providing speech therapy services tailored to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students with various communication disorders. The role also encompasses conducting screenings and evaluations as needed to support student development. Services will be delivered across two school sites, with four days at one location and one day at another. Typical school hours are from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in a pediatric and school setting Strong skills in evaluation, therapy planning, and implementation for pediatric populations Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and with sensitivity to individual student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Benefits of this position include hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment and the opportunity to contribute to students' communicative success.
