Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist serving students in a vibrant North Carolina school setting. This role centers on making a positive impact across a K-12 caseload, guiding children and adolescents to better communication and academic success. The assignment begins July 27, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, providing plenty of time to see your efforts take root. Your expertise will be vital in addressing a range of speech and language needs in a supportive, collaborative environment. The position is an excellent fit for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows eager to build their skills in a school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Current North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license ASHA Certification (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience or interest in school-based practice serving K-12 students Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Compassion and dedication to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations Diagnose disorders and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents on communication strategies
