Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for the 2026-2027 school year to provide services for students in grades K-12. This contract position is located in Hayesville, NC, with a start date of August 17, 2026, and an end date of May 21, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress. Participate in speech and language screenings and assessments as required.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CF or SLP-CCC) with eligibility for school-based practice. Experience working with diverse student populations in school settings. Ability to create effective individualized education plans (IEPs). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to supporting student development and growth.
Position Highlights:
Guaranteed hours with no additional duties such as bus duty or parent pickup outside contracted hours. Compensation includes pay for both direct and indirect services.
