Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing high-quality speech and language services in an educational setting. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to help children thrive academically and socially. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking hands-on experience in schools near High Point, NC.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Pediatric clinical experience, especially within school-based or teletherapy settings Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFY), if applicable Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Tech-savvy and comfortable with teletherapy, if needed
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs Deliver direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy as required Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress reports, and update goals as necessary Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to support student success Offer guidance and support to families regarding strategies to help students outside of sessions Manage caseload effectively and maintain up-to-date records and compliance documentation Continue professional development to remain current in best practices Enjoy the flexibility that comes with a contract role, allowing you to focus on what you do best—helping students reach their communication goals.
