Urgent Need:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) High Point, NC 27262 $1,505
  • $1,750 a week

  • week travel/contract assignment in High Point, NC .

35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate:
$1,505
  • $1,750
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Treatment Planning:
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Therapy Implementation:
Provide therapy to improve communication skills, including speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice, fluency, and social communication.
Swallowing Therapy:
Address swallowing disorders by developing and implementing appropriate treatment strategies.
Family and Caregiver Education:
Educate family members and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing at home.
Collaboration:
Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and audiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Experience with a diverse patient population is advantageous.
