Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an impactful contract role supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Huntersville, NC. This full-time position spans the academic year, starting in early August 2026 and concluding in June 2027, offering you a chance to make a difference in a supportive educational environment.
Essential Qualifications:
Active North Carolina SLP licensure (CCC required) Experience in a school-based SLP role, preferably with knowledge of ECATS documentation systems Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based practice and individual student growth Experience delivering speech and language services to diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in accordance with IEP and state guidelines Maintain meticulous records using ECATS and other school-based systems Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and special services teams to optimize outcomes for students Attend meetings (case conferences, planning, eligibility) as needed via in-person or Zoom Deliver services across multiple school sites as determined You'll have the opportunity to participate in a virtual interview process, making initial steps more convenient.
