Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist ready to make an impact with elementary students. This contract position, scheduled to run from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, offers a unique chance to support young learners throughout the school year. You'll enjoy a balanced workload with guaranteed hours, compensation for both direct and indirect services, and the benefit of focusing exclusively on your therapy responsibilities—no extra duties like bus supervision or parent pick-up.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active, or eligibility for, North Carolina SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience with school-based services, especially with elementary-aged children Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in small groups Assess, diagnose, and document students' speech, voice, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans that foster student growth and achievement Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' IEP goals Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reports Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights as needed
