Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with school-aged learners in an on-site educational setting. This full-time role offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators and support students' communication and language development throughout the school year. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 22, 2026, at one or more school sites in the Greensboro area. The specific number of campuses and caseload details will be shared during the interview process.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license and educator certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory Experience in school settings strongly preferred Flexible, adaptable communication style with children and staff Commitment to maintaining timely documentation and compliance with educational guidelines Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with district protocols Provide direct therapy services and support communication goals in classroom environments Participate in parent meetings and multidisciplinary conferences as needed This contract position immerses you in a welcoming school environment where your expertise will truly make a difference for students' growth.
