Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment supporting students from kindergarten through high school. This position offers the invaluable experience of working with diverse learners and collaborating with educators to enhance student outcomes. The role is ideal for passionate professionals, including Clinical Fellows, dedicated to making a tangible difference in a K-12 educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathology License Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students on a K-12 caseload Conduct comprehensive screening and diagnostic assessments to identify communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and families regarding communication strategies Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development as needed Enjoy the
