Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voice by providing speech-language services for a local school district. This contract position serves a diverse population across multiple campuses, offering you the chance to make a direct impact where it counts most.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina DPI SLP license (must be current and verifiable) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Demonstrated experience in providing speech-language services to school-aged children Strong proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) Previous exposure to IEP documentation, progress reports, and writing annual goals Ability to serve students across multiple sites as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site speech-language therapy to students at middle and elementary schools, including EC Pre-K Complete evaluations and screenings to determine student needs Write present levels of performance and develop individualized annual goals Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Maintain timely documentation per district and state requirements Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and parents to support student growth
Details:
