Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving K-12 students in Murphy, NC. This contract position begins on August 17, 2026, and concludes on May 21, 2027, offering a consistent and rewarding role supporting student communication and language development throughout the academic year. Key responsibilities include providing both direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse student population. The position offers guaranteed hours with no additional district duties such as bus duty or parent pickup outside of contracted hours, allowing you to focus fully on delivering high-quality therapeutic support. Travel therapists working in this role are also eligible for stipends.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY preferred) Experience working in school settings with K-12 students Ability to provide individualized speech and language therapy services Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
