Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in students' lives by providing essential speech-language services across several engaging school environments. Full-time contract openings are available for dedicated, collaborative speech-language pathologists with active
NCDPI SLP
licensure. This position serves a diverse caseload from EC PreK through middle school, spread between Albemarle Middle, Norwood Elementary, and Aquadale Elementary. Your expertise will directly contribute to developing students' communication skills and supporting their academic achievement.Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active North Carolina DPI SLP licensure required (must provide documentation) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred Previous experience in a school setting, ideally with EC PreK and/or middle school populations Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) is essential Strong record of participating in IEP meetings, conducting thorough evaluations/screenings, and developing present levels of performance and annual goalsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person speech-language therapy to students, following IEP guidelines and district requirements Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify and address students' communication needs Write clear, data-driven present levels of performance and meaningful annual goals for caseload Collaborate with teachers, parents, and EC teams to ensure best outcomes for every childWhat You'll Love:
