Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on an enriching contract assignment as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic K-12 school environment near Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This opportunity empowers you to make a direct impact by supporting students' communication and academic growth over the course of the school year. Whether you are an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow, your expertise will help students reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathology license ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY welcomed) Prior experience with K-12 students is advantageous but not mandatory Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload of K-12 students Provide direct and consultative services in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school professionals Monitor student progress and document results in line with regulatory and school protocols Offer professional guidance and resources to school staff regarding speech and language concerns Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, offering peace of mind as you focus on your students' success.
