Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity serving students throughout eastern North Carolina for the 2026-27 school year! This contract-based role offers the chance to bring your expertise and passion for speech-language therapy to PreK, elementary, and middle/high school settings. You will support a diverse caseload—50 to 55 students—across multiple locations, helping them build the communication skills essential for lifelong success. The collaborative environment welcomes both experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs), and is ready to conduct interviews for dedicated professionals eager to make an impact. Ideal candidates bring a strong pediatric focus, experience in school-based or teletherapy settings, and a commitment to fostering meaningful student growth. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current or eligibility for NC licensure (SLP-CCC or CFY) Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders School-based and/or healthcare SLP background Comfortable handling a caseload of 50-55 students across multiple grade levels Familiarity with teletherapy platforms, a plus Strong collaboration and communication skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to PreK through high school students Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and progress monitoring Consult with teachers and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams If helping students overcome communication challenges inspires you, this contract role could be the perfect fit.
