Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Whitakers, NC. Qualifications and Requirements:
Active North Carolina SLP License ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required, but open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs) Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy Familiarity with screening, testing, diagnosing, and advising for speech/language concerns Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering student achievement and supporting diverse learners
Core Responsibilities:
Manage a K-12 caseload, providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and re-evaluations as necessary Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Serve as an educational advisor on language and communication development This role begins July 27, 2026, and runs through June 4, 2027.
