1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) withASHA CCC
certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a critical access hospital in a post-acute care setting. Details Post-acute care setting at a 25-bed critical access hospital Speech Therapy department covering primarily outpatient caseload, with occasional inpatient and rare home health coverage PRN Treats patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Assessment and treatment of aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive/linguistic deficits, TBI, laryngectomy, voice disorders, cleft palate, fluency disorders, and dysphagia Utilizes Epic EMR and TIMS for videofluoroscopy Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm day shift, 8-hour shifts Sole SLP on staff — works independently without on-site SLP peers No call or weekend requirements indicated 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid North Dakota SLP license required; license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Experience performing swallowing assessments and videofluoroscopy Ability to provide general care across all age groups Epic EMR experience preferred Additional Information Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops individualized therapy programs for inpatient, outpatient, and home care patients Performs videofluoroscopic swallow studies using TIMS Supports family and staff communication strategies for patients with communication disorders Arranges continued treatment or follow-up care planning upon patient discharge Collaborates with PT, OT, and Audiology as part of the interdisciplinary team First week includes onboarding/orientation Required online modules must be completed prior to start Business casual dress code Local candidates are accepted for this position Candidates with any previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a do-not-use (DNU) checkSimilar remote jobs
