Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a full-time contract role starting with the new school year and continuing through the end of the next school year. The opportunity is based in Bennington, Nebraska, serving a school environment dedicated to supporting student communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and provide resources Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress reports Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials to practice in schools Experience working as an SLP in educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and priorities
