Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Fremont, NE, beginning with the new school year and continuing through the end of the next school year. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized speech and language therapy services in an educational setting. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs. Progress monitoring, documentation, and adherence to state and federal regulations are also essential components of this role.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders Ability to manage caseload effectively (caseload details to be determined) Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting students' academic and social communication skillsBenefits and Perks:
