Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract We are actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Hastings, NE for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an on-site, in-person role working with diverse student populations in a collaborative educational environment. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs passionate about helping students improve speech, language, communication, and social skills in a school-based setting.
Position Details:
Middle School SLP- Work with middle school students
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop and manage IEPs and therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Nebraska SLP license (or eligibility)
ASHA CCC-SLP
preferred (CF candidates may be considered)- School-based experience preferred, but not required
