Job Description

Skills and Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility) Experience within a school setting preferred Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech/language disorders Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers Flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, interpreting results to create personalized intervention plans Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school and state guidelines Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support Provide resources, coaching, and support to teachers and parents to generalize skills beyond therapy sessions Maintain compliance with all applicable school, state, and federal regulations and standards You'll find fulfillment in this supportive environment where your specialized skills help students progress academically and socially.
