Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A school district in Wood River, NE is seeking two full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team for the 26-27 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to support students in a dynamic educational environment with a focus on comprehensive speech and language services. Position 1 focuses on providing speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students, addressing school-based communication needs across various grade levels. Position 2 specializes in early childhood, serving children from birth to 5 years old, delivering targeted interventions during critical developmental periods.
Key qualifications and experience:
Certification as an SLP with either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or meeting requirements for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience working within school settings, with a background in school-based speech therapy services Strong assessment and treatment skills tailored to pediatric populations Ability to provide on-site services exclusively (no virtual services) Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) qualifications will not be considered Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans based on student needs Providing direct therapy services in collaboration with educators and families Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive learning environment This is a contract opportunity located in Wood River, NE, focusing on delivering onsite support to students without virtual or remote options.
