Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 academic year. This diverse K-12 caseload offers the chance to make a significant impact across multiple grade levels, providing direct therapy services within a school community. The assignment runs from August 19, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, all conducted in person.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active and current SLP licensure (proof required at submission) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working in school-based settings with preschool, elementary, and/or secondary-aged children Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Committed to in-person service delivery Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish professional rapport with students and staff Key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students Developing and implementing targeted therapy plans, both individual and group-based Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Keeping thorough records on progress, attendance, and required paperwork Supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs to optimize learning outcomes Consulting with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success This contract placement provides a stable, consistent schedule, professional support environment, and the opportunity to deliver meaningful services to children as they develop critical communication skills.
