Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Concord, NH. Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience working within school-based settings. Deep understanding of child development, language disorders, and the educational process. Proficiency in conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for school-aged children. Collaborative spirit—experienced in partnering with teachers, families, and other school staff. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and therapy plans. Maintain accurate and thorough records in compliance with school and legal requirements. Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers to facilitate student success. Support IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings. Engage with families to discuss progress, strategies, and resources.
