Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity is located near Derry, NH, and covers the full academic year, from August 17, 2026, to June 17, 2027. You'll work onsite, providing essential speech and language services while collaborating closely with educators and support staff. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The primary caseload is high school students, but flexibility is essential as you may also assist across additional grade levels. Regular faculty and department meetings occur twice monthly on Wednesdays, fostering a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
Key qualifications:
Current SLP licensure in New Hampshire (must be presented at submission) Eligibility or certification as SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) Experience in school-based speech and language services preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school environments Primary responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting Develop and implement IEPs in consultation with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Document progress and maintain comprehensive student records in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate actively in faculty and departmental meetings and contribute insights to student support strategies Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families as needed A supportive work culture, a steady weekday schedule, and the chance to work alongside passionate educators await you.
