Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role making a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position, conveniently located near Derry, NH, offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise supports student communication and academic success. With a schedule of 32-35 hours per week, you'll have both stability and flexibility.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Holds or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or is a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop rapport and work collaboratively with students, caregivers, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations of students with diverse communication needs Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student requirements Deliver speech and language therapy (individual and group) within the school environment Consult with teachers and related service professionals to support student progress Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliant records Engage with families, sharing strategies and updates on student development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team's goals
