Requirements:
Valid, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Core responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing Diagnose types and severity of communication and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, pragmatic skills, and swallowing (dysphagia) Evaluate for and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions as needed Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in strategies, exercises, and safety techniques to support communication and swallowing Monitor, document, and modify treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate, timely clinical records (assessments, plans, progress notes) Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care Facilitate generalization of skills to daily activities, school, or work settings Participate in professional development to maintain current best practices Perform other duties as assigned by management
