  • Part-time Edgewood Center for Rehab Edgewood Center for Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem/ Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehab team.
Our beautiful 5-star skilled nursing facility in historic Portsmouth provides exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current NH Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric populations preferred Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes. Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans Provide skilled speech therapy services for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders Complete accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with nursing, rehab, dietary, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued care Maintain a safe, organized, and positive therapy environment Support a collaborative and resident-centered rehab culture Why Join Us?
