Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting students' communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work 32-35 hours weekly in a dynamic school environment near Salem, NH, providing essential services that make a real impact on young learners' educational experiences.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active or eligible SLP license (CCC or CFY considered) Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and support staff Ability to tailor therapy to individual student IEPs and needs Core responsibilities include: Providing direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students Conducting thorough assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs Developing, implementing, and documenting progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success Maintaining clear and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines Engaging in team meetings and professional development as needed This role provides the flexibility and fulfillment of a contract position within a supportive educational setting.
