Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact this summer by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide critical services for students in a school setting near Atlantic City, NJ, ensuring they continue to progress in their communication skills throughout the summer session. Bring your Speech-Language expertise and enjoy collaborating with educators and families while making a difference in young lives. This is perfect for both experienced clinicians and those looking for their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or pending New Jersey SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility/interest in completing CFY Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, including ESY programs Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support holistic student progress Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records Participate actively in ESY team meetings and professional development as needed
