Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Empower students to reach their communication goals in a supportive educational environment near Elizabeth, NJ. This engaging position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact providing speech-language services in a school setting—with flexibility for both on-site and teletherapy options. We're excited to welcome dedicated professionals interested in both short-term and extended placements, including individuals open to returning for ESY (Extended School Year) programs. Your expertise ensures students receive essential support, whether starting your Clinical Fellowship Year or holding your CCC.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based or healthcare settings Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery preferred Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, diagnostic services, and individualized therapy for PreK-12 students Develop and implement treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication challenges Document progress, maintain compliance with regulatory standards and IEP requirements Consult with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals for holistic student support Offer services in-person, virtually, or in a blended format as needed Opportunity to continue with ESY programs for year-round student growth Become a valued resource for students and educators.
