Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students' communication development as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during the Extended School Year (ESY) near Mays Landing, NJ. This role is ideal for passionate SLPs driven to make a difference in the school environment, whether you're just starting your clinical fellowship year (CFY) or bring your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). In this ESY position, you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals during summer programming. This rewarding setting lets you design interventions that foster real progress in young learners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Open to both SLPs with CCC and those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students enrolled in the ESY program Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Provide direct therapy and group sessions targeting students' specific needs Document progress and maintain compliant records Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff about student progress and strategies Why Apply?
