Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting a school community near Newark, NJ. This contract opportunity runs from now through mid-June and provides the chance to inspire progress and foster communication skills in a dynamic school setting. Candidates with a passion for pediatric speech-language therapy, both in-person and through teletherapy, will thrive in this collaborative environment. Whether you're completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your expertise will help young learners achieve their full potential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in New Jersey Ability to work with pediatric populations in school settings ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience with teletherapy approaches is a plus Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostics for students with speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Provide both in-person and teletherapy speech-language services as needed Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for coordinated support Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school protocols Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions This is more than a typical contract—it's a chance to build valuable experience while fostering communication skills in children who need it most.
