Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time contract position is located in the North Bergen, NJ area and is an excellent opportunity for a passionate clinician ready to deliver collaborative, student-centered speech and language services during the 2026-2027 school year. What you'll need to thrive in this role: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New Jersey Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills Dedication to supporting students' educational and social success As a valued SLP in this position, your core responsibilities will include: Assessing, diagnosing, and delivering individualized therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' IEP goals Documenting progress, maintaining clear records, and participating in IEP meetings Delivering direct and indirect therapy services Creating engaging sessions tailored to each student, helping them both inside and outside the classroom setting You'll work in a supportive environment where your specialized skills help students increase their confidence and communication abilities.
