August 19, 2026Position Summary:
Medford Public Schools is seeking a collaborative, student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students across grade levels. This .4 FTE position offers flexibility in scheduling and caseload design, along with a manageable caseload aligned to the assignment. The SLP will support students with a range of communication needs and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with special education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers to ensure access to educational programming. The district offers a supportive, team-based environment with access to consultation and mentorship, assessment tools and intervention resources, ongoing professional development, and a small district setting that values strong relationships and communication.Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in student IEPs Conduct evaluations and contribute to comprehensive special education assessments Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to communication Collaborate with staff and families to support student communication across settings Maintain appropriate documentation and progress monitoring Participate in IEP meetings and team planning Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirementsQualifications:
Valid Minnesota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or Eligibility for Minnesota licensure (e.g., Clinical Fellow or Tiered licensure pathway) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or the ability to obtain Strong collaboration and communication skillsCompensation & Benefits:
