School Speech and Language Pathologist | Oakland, New Jersey Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Oakland, NJ Job Details Full-time | Contract $27 - $100 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic school setting near Oakland, NJ. This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for speech-language pathologists who are either CCC-certified or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You'll provide impactful consultative services to staff and help shape positive outcomes for students at one school site.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license in New Jersey ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY School-based experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Organized, self-motivated, and committed to consultative best practices
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver consultative speech-language services to educators and staff (no direct student therapy) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on strategies for student success Monitor student progress and provide recommendations aligned with IEP goals Participate in meetings, document consultative activities, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations Support a diverse range of student needs within one school environment
Role Details:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Onsite presence required Immediate start running through extended school year dates: June 1 - June 18 and July 6 - 10 This opportunity is ideal for SLPs eager to make a difference while honing their consultative skills in a supportive educational environment.
