Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Belen, NM. This contract role offers a dynamic opportunity to work with a wide range of students across all grade levels, providing essential speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student outcomes. Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. Experience as an SLP in a school setting, including those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and related service delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse groups.
