Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a contract opportunity working with students in a supportive school environment near Belen, NM. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll play a key role in helping students develop their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply Experience working in K-12 schools or with pediatric populations Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and contribute to eligibility and review meetings Develop targeted treatment plans and adjust them as necessary based on student progress Consult with teachers and staff regarding strategies to support student communication and participation in the classroom Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
