Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type All Job Types Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) for the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential support to students in a vibrant community near Espanola, NM. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid or pending NM state (NMRLD) license and NMPED (NMPED can be in pending status by the start date) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered Experience working with school-aged children and/or pediatric caseloads is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy to students according to their IEPs, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines Caseload sizes are designed to be reasonable, with specific preferences based on your experience and interest discussed during the interview process Enjoy working in a region that offers enriching professional experiences and endless possibilities for leisure, from city activities to outdoor recreation.
