Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position supports K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year in Peralta, NM. The role is offered on a contractual basis within a school setting, providing comprehensive speech and language services to support student success across all grade levels. Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with educators, parents, and support staff. Candidates will provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with educational standards and individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and desired credentials:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred Experience working in school settings with K-12 students Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of federal and state educational regulations related to speech and language servicesLocation:
