Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity serving students in the Las Vegas area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, on-site contract position offers a dynamic chance to work within a supportive school district, working collaboratively to help students reach their communication goals. Key Qualifications:
Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology SLP-CF may be considered, though preference is given to SLPs with CCCs Active Nevada Department of Education Certification Active Nevada SLP License Full-time availability with flexibility to work across multiple schools as assigned Commitment to on-site work; no remote or hybrid options available Bilingual skills are considered a plus Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload (age groups and specific assignments determined upon placement) Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in consultation with educators and family members Track student progress, maintain consistent documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Utilize evidence-based approaches to assessment and intervention Assist with timely completion of credentialing processes, including fingerprinting, following an employment offer
