About the

Role:

As a Per-Diem Speech Therapist , you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities , improving their overall quality of life . You will provide one-on-one therapy in a home health setting , offering personalized treatment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team .

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide skilled speech therapy services , addressing articulation, voice, fluency, comprehension, and swallowing disorders. Educate patients and caregivers on speech exercises, communication techniques, and safe swallowing strategies . Work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards . Stay up to date with best practices and industry advancements in home health speech therapy.

Qualifications:

✔️ Valid State License as a Speech Therapist ✔️ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology ✔️ Minimum 1 Year of Experience in home health or acute care settings ✔️ Strong clinical skills with a patient-first mindset ✔️ Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities ✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team ✔️ Understanding of Medicare home health regulations & documentation
