Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to students in a K‑12 setting. The role supports students with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with educators and families to improve communication skills and academic success. This 36‑week contract offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Conduct assessments and progress monitoring. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists. Provide classroom instruction and support. Document interventions and maintain records. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Educate students, families, and staff on communication strategies. Adapt interventions for diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with state regulations and documentation. Attend professional development and training. Assist in program evaluation and improvement.
