Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with children and youth through the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the flexibility of both full-time and part-time schedules and serves a diverse student population, primarily at the elementary level with some middle and high school involvement. Emphasizing a collaborative, student-centered environment, you will deliver specialized speech-language services in a supportive setting near Las Vegas, NV. Key skills for success in this role include the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication disorders in children and adolescents. Professionals with experience or certification in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, school-based SLP, pediatric SLP, teletherapy, and SLPA backgrounds are encouraged to apply, as are those from both healthcare and educational spheres.
Qualifications:
Active state licensure as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (or eligibility for appropriate NV credentials) Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based speech-language pathology Comfortable working across various grade levels, with a strong focus on elementary students Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with faculty, families, and other specialists to promote student growth Support students' IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct and consultative services in both in-person and teletherapy formats as required Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state standards Imagine helping students discover their voice while working in a flexible contract role that fits your schedule.
