Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Explore an exciting opportunity to support students by providing crucial speech-language services within a dynamic school setting near North Las Vegas, NV. This full-time, on-site contract position offers professional growth and the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives throughout the academic year.
Essential qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed (SLP-CFs accepted; CCCs highly preferred) Active Nevada Department of Education teaching certification Current Nevada SLP License Willingness to complete district fingerprinting and additional credentialing promptly upon offer Bilingual skills beneficial (not required) Strictly on-site position—no virtual or hybrid arrangements permitted Immediate, full-time availability required Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students assigned within the Las Vegas area; specific caseload, age group, and school locations are determined at assignment Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IEPs and federal/state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders and interventions Perks you'll enjoy: Engage in meaningful work impacting student growth and communication skills Professional development opportunities in a supportive educational environment District handles all interview scheduling and credentialing steps post-offer Rapid hiring process—district interviews directly, accelerating hiring for well-qualified candidates Make a lasting impact while advancing your career in one of Nevada's largest school districts.
