Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students' communication growth and academic achievement! Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for full-time roles serving both elementary and secondary students in a vibrant educational setting. With the academic year beginning August 20 and concluding June 4, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the first day of school through the end of the year. You'll manage a manageable caseload of 55-60 students, delivering targeted, evidence-based speech and language services. Openings are available for both elementary and secondary levels, giving you the flexibility to collaborate with students at just the right stage of their development. The district offers accommodating schedules—elementary school hours typically run 8:30am to 3:15pm, while secondary schools are in session from 7:30am to 2:15pm.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP licensure for school or healthcare settings ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience with pediatric populations and diverse student needs Proficiency in teletherapy is a plus, along with a background in school-based SLP services Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses for speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Maintain documentation and support compliance with IEP goals and state guidelines Engage in collaborative efforts with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Provide both in-person and, where applicable, teletherapy services If you're ready to empower students and help them reach their full communicative potential, apply today!
