Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with children in an educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire school year and is an excellent fit for SLPs with their CCC as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) seeking a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Candidates will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to provide dedicated services to early learners in an established childhood center near Albany, NY.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for or possession of NY state licensure as anSLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but supervision for CFYs is available Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings is a plus Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families Ability to create a motivating, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphereKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in early childhood programs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Deliver services through individual and small group sessions Maintain thorough documentation compliant with school and state guidelines Collaborate with general/special education staff, administrators, and family members for student support Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development initiatives This position offers full-time hours throughout the academic year, providing invaluable experience and professional growth.
